Enterprise, Full Circle

Lileks talks about the final episode of Enterprise in a way that almost makes me like it better than I did.
Yes, everyone did get to come say goodbye one last time, but mostly it was pointless. It became the B plot of a Next Gen episode. Trip and T'Pol don't end up together; she just vaguely misses him and want to meet his parents. Trip's death is pointless in the exact same way as Kirk's death falling off a bridge.
If the point is that death can be random and meaningless, I don't need to see it on tv, I can watch the news for that. Feh.
