30 GOP Congressmen Have Been Attacked or Threatened Since May
Remember: if you disagree with someone politically and you use rhetoric that compares them to murderers, you are agreeing implicitly it is ok to threaten them or attack them because they are evil. Words have meaning. Think carefully about what meaning you actually intend and what the unintended consequences are. I am still shocked that we all had to have a debate over punching nazis because many people didn't understand that the correct response to offensive speech is more speech, not a punch in the face because that way lies madness. It may satisfy you, but it will only increase violence in return. With the common practice of defining down nazi to be anyone who disagrees with me, political violence is only going to increase.
