Perjury USA: Rampant police lying taints criminal justice system nationwide
Cops lie because there is no penalty for being caught. I now assume a cop is lying unless there is corroborating video to back up their story. That may sound harsh, but they have lost the confidence and trust of many because we keep seeing cops lying and getting away with it.
