I'm looking forward to this. I'm running a Firefly like game using 3rd Edition.
It looks like they've made a number of adjustments to close loopholes that have been around for a long time.
There was also the uproar when the initial cover designs were unveiled. They were underwhelming to say the least. They looked like an RPG cover from the 80's. And the "sexual aid launcher" that the woman was carrying was too much. So, after much complaining and many fan-designed covers (that were quite good) a contest opened to replace the covers (and it was heavily implied that this was the intended outcome as the covers were just placeholder images. Right.)
