Japanese Carriers

Japan is slowly moving back into being able to project military force. I don't know if it's good or bad, it just is.
In essence, Japan will have a ship about the size of the vessels that were the centerpiece of the British response to a crisis halfway around the world 25 years ago, with a flight deck and an offset island. They performed well, too – just ask Argentina. The Hyuga means that Japan is back in the power projection business.

Can you blame them? They share a part of the world with North Korea and China.

If I lived in ToughTown, I'd at least want to have a baseball bat...

I know it's only a matter of time before we see the Japanese National Defense forces flying big transforming robots. You know they want to...
