The city. Ira and I went in to the city to the New York Hall of Science and then the UN. We thought there was a scale modle of New York City at the museum, but we were mistaken. Oops. From there, we caught a subway from Queens into Manhattan into Grand Central Station and then walked to the UN, stopping for lunch on the way.The Grand Central Station Main Terminal is very impressive, with a restored ceiling mural of the night sky.
The UN looked shabby. It is beginning to look it's age. It needs to be renovated. The tours were disorganized, sort of the UN in miniature, groups of well meaning people working at cross purposes unitentionally.
