Pixar is indeed working on a movie version of John Carter of Mars, with a script written by Wall-E's director Andrew Stanton, who also worked on Finding Nemo. The confirmation came from Stanton himself, talking to fans after a convention appearance in Toronto last week.From Wikipedia:
