Fringe Premier

I just watched the premier of JJ Abrams new series, Fringe. I thought it was enjoyable and promised more sci-fi conspiracy goodness. There were only one distraction for me. The music cues were a little too much like Lost. I keep expecting to see the smoke monster caged in a lab. Other than that, I plan to keep watching. I hope it doesn't fall into the trap the X-Files fell into, where there can be no real advancement of plot, but Abrams has managed to finish off at least one conspiracy driven show, Alias.
