According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel Animation is developing a 26-episode Thor series that will launch in fall 2010, a few months after the debut of the live-action film in theaters.

The trade paper reports the cartoon "will take place in various worlds — from mountainous landscapes to places of icy mists and fiery voids — and will include many of the comic's supporting cast, including Balder the Brave, the Warriors Three and Thor's evil adopted brother, Loki."

Any chance to see the Thor and the Warriors Three in action is to be looked forward to.
