I just downloaded and tried out Apple's updated browser for Windows, Safari.
Performance wise, it felt faster than IE (of course), faster than Firefox 3, and slower than Google Chrome. The UI is nice, but the tabs seemed a little too small for me.
Otherwise, it works fine except for one thing. It doesn't support automatically opening up a new window in a tab. Even IE can do this. There is a way to set the setting on the Mac, but there appears to be no way to do so on Windows.
That's a deal breaker for me. If they add support for that, then I'd be much more likely to keep it. As it is, I'll probably uninstall it real soon now.
