Oh look, Congress is doing its job

They are actually reading the health care bill and touting that fact to anyone who will listen. [Link]

Wow, they're actually going to read their own bill!  The Washington Post story implies that they will read it not to see if it's a good idea, but to help them "sell" it to voters. And they sound so proud!
"No one's going to say we haven't read the bill," said Rep. C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger of Maryland

"Nobody can say we haven't read it," said Rep. Lynn Woolsey of California, just minutes later.

…Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (Ohio) took page after page of notes on a legal pad, later showing reporters the proof of his diligence.
On one hand, it's tempting to count this as good news, considering how often Congress does not read its own bills,
