But some people will shout 'racism!' at any criticism of Obama. [Link]

It has a bit of everything to appeal to the drunk tank of California conservatism: Obama is in white face, his mouth (like Ledger's Joker's) has been grotesquely slit wide open and the word "Socialism" appears below his face. The only thing missing is a noose.

Some have a problem with the Socialist label. [Link]

Of course, anyone who understands the definition of socialism can't possibly believe Obama is a socialist. (Just a few ways in which Obama's policies differ from a socialist agenda: socialism would mean no health insurance companies; decriminalization of drugs and prostitution; immediate withdrawal of all troops on foreign soil; a certain cap on all salaries in any situation and public funding for the media. I don't see the White House calling for such measures, do you?)

Sigh. Where to start.

1. No Health insurance companies:
Here is Obama on the record being in favor of single payer (with a very weak denial) from the White House. [Link]

2. Decriminalization of drugs and prostitution:
A little shaky, but still some possible support for decriminalization of pot, I didn't see anything on prostitution. [Link]

3. Immediate withdrawal of troops on foreign soil:
Here he's been very Bush like actually, to the consternation of many of his supporters. This one is false.

4 Salary caps:
Salary caps on bailout businesses. Wall Street and the auto industry. It's a start. [Link]

5. Public funding of the media:
Why pay for something he can get for free? They're enchanted with him. [Link]

Four out of five, maybe three out of five. Still a majority.
