Customer Letter - Apple
The government wants to try to make us safer from terrorism at the expense of weakening our protections from all other digital crime. Also, while they say it is for a one time use, we all know that is untrue. This is a bad precedent and I am glad Apple is fighting it. "While we believe the FBI’s intentions are good, it would be wrong for the government to force us to build a backdoor into our products. And ultimately, we fear that this demand would undermine the very freedoms and liberty our government is meant to protect."
