Maybe a GOP Representative should introduce legislation to give all citizens the same pass that Rangel seems to be getting . . . the “I Forgot!” defense!
UPDATE: Reader John Griffin emails:
I read your posts regarding the scandals surrounding Rep. Charles Rangle and wonder why the media isn’t plastering stories about him and his scofflaw ways on every newspaper’s front page and leading every broadcast on TV day after day.
You might remember that the media outdid themselves recently in showing how excellent they can be in uncovering $1,000 odd tax lien/scofflaws such as Joe The Plumber.
Surely they know how to do it again.
Oh, they know how to do it.

How does Charles Rangle still have a job?
If your job is writing tax law and you have to call in a forensic accountant to make sense of your books, should you really have this job? [Link]

Why is anyone upset? Corruption is the most important element of government.Unless "what's in it for me" is accepted, nothing will ever get done.Do you remember the Boston "Big Dig",it was a $3.5 present to departing "Tip" which when completed cost the taxpayers about $15BILLION.Did anyone care? Of course not. Now,if you think the 7 to 9 Trillion Dollar bill is the end of this game,we have not seen anything yet. Here comes the Chicago gang!My estimate of the national debt by the end of the new administration is about 20 TRILLION DOLLARS,please pray that I am wrong.
