Head mounted display vastly improves remote vehicle control

This makes sense. [Link]
By wearing a headset called a Head-Aimed Remote Viewer, or HARV, the operator looks through the eyes of a camera that mimics the movement of his own head, effectively putting him in a virtual driver's seat. The HARV system is shown to boost the overall performance of remote operation by 300-400%, includes features like night vision, laser target designation, optical zooming and more and costs around $40,000.
